“really enjoyed getting to know her!”

We played The Wreckers this past weekend, here is a quick review. This was the first time I played a game with DM Lauren and really enjoyed getting to know her! The setting, story and task made sense and fit the time frame we had perfectly. I thought the interactions with one group of NPCs was particularly delightful (no spoilers!). DM Lauren paced the action vs lulls well and enhanced the game play with great music. The maps were so cool- especially the lighthouse. The Wreckers one-shot was a real “Goldilocks” experience for me. As a newer player this was my third one-shot. The first one-shot I did was super overwhelming and we got TPK’d. The second one-shot was a great learning experience but it went so fast I wished I could’ve spent a lot more time in the space exploring. The Wreckers hit a real sweet spot! **Gods bless our Firbolg for all the healing potions too, Sunny was definitely knocked arse over teakettle a couple times lol!
